On Wednesday night, after a delightfully satisfying dinner at In-N-Out Burger, we attended our third and final prenatal class. We learned all kinds of massaging and breathing techniques, including the famous "hee hee hee hoo" which, until then, I thought was just in the movies. We really enjoyed the class and would highly recommend it to anyone. I don't know about Jonathan, but I didn't want it to end!

I had my weekly checkup today and everything is measuring just right. I didn't end up needing an ultrasound...what a relief! My due date is still set for June 8.
There was a lovely surprise waiting for me when I got home from work tonight...
That's right - my wonderful hubby set up the crib! As I took in the sight of a crib in our house (crazy!!!), I had to fight back tears as I thought about what a great daddy Jonathan is going to be.
On a completely separate note, HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY AND GRADUATION to my sweet little brother Michael!!!
Apparently I own one Purple polo and that is it.

ReplyDelete"hee hee hee hoo" is the only thing that got me through the birth of Cove, because I didn't have anything for pain. The crib is absolutely beautiful! I have one suggestion for you though, as the baby gets older and is able to pull him or herself up he/she will start to chew on their crib. They have clear crib teethers at babiesrus that just snap on the crib, Cove chewed up his (once beautiful) crib in about a day, I wish I would have had these before hand! Best of luck to you both! Your going to be great parents, and it is such and amazing journey!
